Rebloom
Rebloom is a statement piece that explores sustainability through material reuse and transformation.
The garment is constructed using repurposed fabrics, hand-me-down clothing, wood shavings, and ABS trimmings, giving discarded materials a renewed purpose. This approach not only reduces waste but also embeds a narrative of regeneration and reinterpretation within the design.
The composition is defined by a rich interplay of textures and layers. The structured bodice contrasts with the softness and movement of the skirt, creating a balanced silhouette that feels both dynamic and cohesive. Organic elements, such as wood shavings, introduce an unexpected material language, adding depth and tactility while reinforcing the connection to natural processes.
The bold colour palette enhances the visual impact of the piece, allowing it to stand out as both a garment and an artistic expression. Through this combination of material experimentation, contrast, and form, Rebloom challenges conventional perceptions of value and beauty in fashion, emphasising the ability of overlooked materials to be transformed into something expressive and meaningful.
